The museum’s February “Immerse Yourself” presentation highlights the flora found in the Florida Keys, connecting native plants, survival skills and indigenous uses. Jellies made from sea grape, prickly pear cactus and papaya will be available to taste after the presentation. The speaker is Islamorada Area State Parks ranger Chris Herald and the presentation is in person at the museum, as well as via Zoom. Visit the museum’s website to register.
