Historian Brad Bertelli will give a great talk at Islamorada Moose Lodge focusing on the history of the U.S. Schooner Alligator, its ties to piracy and how it left its name to Alligator Reef and the lighthouse. The event is open to the public with a requested donation of $5, and free for members of the Moose. Mile marker 81.5. Event begins at 6 p.m. The kitchen will be open.
