20 Aug 9/5/2022 Matecumbe Historical Trust presents: Labor Day Service
Matecumbe Historical Trust (MHT) presents a Labor Day service staged at the hurricane monument located at MM 81.8, oceanside. Each year tribute is paid to the more than 500 men, women and children who perished Sept. 2, 1935. The service is to start at 9 a.m. and is to include the introduction, Invocation, Presentation of Colors, National Anthem, guest speakers, history of the hurricane, the laying of the memorial wreath, Taps, America the Beautiful, God Bless American, and the Benediction.
